¡Muchísimas gracias a Anja y José Luis que nos han ayudado a concretar nuestro proyecto de inmersión en la vida andaluza durante unos meses! Han acogido nuestros hijos las primeras semanas en la academia, para unas clases de español, y nos ayudaron a ponernos en relación con el colegio en Prado del Rey donde fueron luego nuestros hijos. ¡Todo perfecto, hasta pronto!

Ich war im Oktober 2024 zum 14tägigen Bildungsurlaub Spanisch Intensivkurs hier. Es hat mir super gut gefallen und ich fühlte mich wie unter Freunden. Auch die Mischung mit Unterricht und Wanderung war eine sehr gute Wahl, sodass auch beim Wandern praxisnah noch einmal mehr spanische Wörter dazu kamen (ich war im Anfängerkurs-A1). Sehr gut war auch die Unterrichtsgestaltung, teilweise spielerisches Erlernen von Satzbau und Anwendung neuer Vokabeln oder auch beim Einkaufen im Mercado, das fand ich echt klasse.

I have done several immersion programs and the peaceful village setting close to the mountains was one of the many special parts of this group. There were multiple class levels depending on speaking and writing and the teachers really cared and the couple who runs the program are fantastic and kind people!!!!
I wish there were more levels for hiking (many expressed this desire) and that our teachers or other Spanish speakers were on our excursions so that we could really speak Spanish outside of class. I loved all the Germans I met on this program but because the teachers also speak German, this ended up being a default language during activities. It would be wise for them to spend more money to get the teachers or other locals to join us and speak more Spanish. Next time I come (and I hope there is one!), I would stay in an independent house or apartment instead of a family but that's just me! I highly recommend this program!

Thanks to Anja for being flexible to arrange a two half day Spanish course for two of us on our arrival into Spain. It was a great way to start our Spanish experience. Thanks to Maribel our teacher for her patience and encouragement. It gave us confidence to speak a little Spanish and at least try when ordering food etc. she also gave us some great tips on food to try in the places we were visiting and told us about some of the nuances of the Spanish culture. It was a great start to our holiday and added to our experience. Prado del Rey felt like the authentic Spain compared to some of the touristy cities on our travels. Thanks again Anja and Maribel

I spent two weeks studying at Academia Pradoventura in October. The course was a combination of language school for the morning and hiking in the afternoon.
It was so amazing and I could not possibly put into words how grateful I am to have had this opportunity. The staff and owners were so kind and helpful and made my stay so very enjoyable. The town and its people were lovely and it made it a great destination off the regular tourist track. There are always little things that I could critique but I try to remember that life is not perfect and sometimes you need to adjust and accept things as they are. If I could give any insite to someone thinking of doing this course, it would be to remember that things move at the pace of a group. This means that sometimes the hikes move slowly, or sometimes the class moves fast. Accept that you are a part of a group and just enjoy it.
My language skills and comfort level drastically improved in only two weeks. Huge thanks to my teacher Maribel. She had an amazing energy and made me feel comfortable even when I was struggling. Thank you Maribel!! At school I made friends and enjoyed many evenings with them. Living, shopping and just being part of this town also had such an impact. If you are considering this school, sign up. It is worth it.

I just completed a two-week intense Spanish language course with Academia Pradoventura. It was simply outstanding, and just what I was looking for. I approached several language schools in the Cádiz province to see what they could offer to improve my Spanish. In my case my spoken language and comprehension were already good, but my grammar needed work. Academia Pradoventura were the only school that offered to tailor a class to my needs. As there was no specific course running that week, they provided a skilled teacher to give me personalised lessons. I would like to thank my teacher Mari Carmen for the dedication and planning that went into my classes, and all the energy and enthusiasm with which she delivered them. A big thanks also to Anja and José Luis who run the academy, such friendly and helpful people. I look forward to stopping by to say Hola again soon.

Während meines dreiwöchigen Aufenthaltes konnte ich viel dazulernen; unterrichtet wird in kleinen Klassen in anregender und unterhaltsamer Atmosphäre. Die Kommunikation steht im Vordergrund. Wünsche konnten jederzeit geäußert werden Anja und José Luis sind mit Herzblut und Enthusiasmus jederzeit für ihre Schüler da. Alles ist wunderbar organisiert. Zur Einstimmung gibt es jeden Sonntag ein Kennenlern-Treffen mit allen neuen und alten Schülern. Während der Wanderungen gibt es Erläuterungen im deutsch-spanisch-Mix, damit sich jeder in seinem Niveau wohlfühlt. An Regentagen wurde kurzfristig und spontan umgeplant und auch meine eigenen Planänderungen, wie eine spontane Verlängerung an der Sprachschule und des Hotels waren ebenso unkompliziert möglich. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich auch die Frühstückspause bei Manolo, in der Bar im Hause der Schule; dort haben wir uns auch Abends des Öfteren kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen. Ein kulinarisches Programm rundete die 3. Woche ab. Wein und Ölverkostung gehörten ebenso dazu wie der Besuch in einer Fleischerei mit landestypischen Spezialitäten. Die Einwohner sind gern zu einem Plausch bereit. Wer die umliegenden Dörfer besuchen möchte, dem sei ein Leihwagen ans Herz gelegt.
Alles in allem waren 3 Wochen immer noch zu kurz, Diese Schule ist wirklich etwas Besonderes ❤️ Tschüss sagt Christa aus Hamburg
