Former graduate, born and raised in LA. Great campus with fantastic professors! I really appreciate the fact that they added beautiful, on campus housing for students as well. Still live and work full time as a lawyer in LA; wouldn’t change anything about my experience at Southwestern. Have had great opportunities in my legal field as well immediately after graduating school; hired less than 1 month after passing the bar my first try. Southwestern has provided a lot of great opportunities for me as a lawyer!

Lovely building! Some idiot lady immediately yelled that it was illegal to take a person's picture in a public place lmaooo, also clueless that this massive and beautiful building was behind her because I told her to move then, lol. So I'm guessing/hoping that she wasn't a student.

I got a call from Ernesto Cruz was the one who called me. When I called back he was so rude and wouldn’t even let me talk. He was very threatening and hanged up when I asked for his information. Thankfully, I was able to get his information through the call center ladies who were very polite and understanding. Ernesto learn some customer service etiquette

On March 12th of this year, I was very excited to receive an invitation to a Mock Admissions Workshop. #ILovedIt It was gr8 to learn and ask questions about the application process and requirements. I very cool friend called and congratulated me, others just posted good wishes on #FaceBook... Well, it's been a long time coming, but I finally decided to get things in order and attend here. However, I will also apply to USC, UCLA, and Stanford Law Schools. I heard of People's College and rumors that Villaragosa attended there when a radio announcement was made about their open house some years ago. I was convinced to attend, however, my life took a life changing direction and 11 years later here I am. Funny, how things in life do work themselves out, but healing from a tragedy and death takes a toll on your sense of self, your priorities, and what truly kind of family you have or in my case, not have... I loved the art deco of the old #Bullock's building. So happy #Southwestern preserved most of it... Pics won't download from my generic android, I'll add pics later... I highly recommend a tour of the building, it's gorgeous for any person into #art #deco #architecture #design #color, etc...

I attended, and graduated from, the SCALE Program there in 1981 and it well-equipped me to compete in the craft. I have fond memories of some of my professors and of many experiences there.
